I have partnered with a bank in the Basehor/Lansing/Leavenworth area, who’s looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer/VP of Mortgage Lending. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for experienced Mortgage Loan Officers who already know how to create and close business. Preferably, a producer that has the ability to coach and help build a team/lending department.

*This is a salaried position ($80K-$100K, depending on experience), with an added bonus structure.

*This can be a remote position.

*Must be familiar with VA/1st & 2nd Mtg/Adj Rate/Home Eq/Bridge/Investment-Commercial loans.

*Prefer prior lending relationships in Leavenworth, Lansing, Basehor, and Johnson County.

General Duties:

Perform a wide range of duties relating to the origination of residential 1st mortgage loans for outside referrals. Meets standards and objectives defined by management for mortgage loan sales and cross-selling objectives. Assumes overall responsibility for the residential mortgage loan from application to closing.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

You should be:

  • An actively licensed Mortgage Loan Originator
  • Experienced in residential mortgage origination
  • Currently originating loans
  • Generating business through your own borrowers, Realtors, builders, financial professionals, or other referral relationships
  • Capable of producing more business, but constrained by time, administrative work, follow-up, operational demands, overhead, or the limits of your current platform
